I never attended art school, but my direction has always been clear... I've kept active in some form of art while raising a husband and three really great children, who always encouraged me to take my art to the next level. My work has been exhibited in art museums, including the Butler Institute of American Art, has won awards in many exhibits, and I have collectors throughout the United States. In addition to fine art, I'm writing and illustrating children's books. I work in oil on canvas, Claybord and copper; in charcoal, graphite, pen and ink, and watercolor. A portion of my illustrating is done in Corel Painter 11.
