Emily Traynor

I'm Emily Traynor, a freelance illustrator based out of the vibrant city of Pittsburgh, and President of Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators.  My work is inspired by a fascination with folklore, mythology, nature, and interesting characters.

I illustrate for a variety of purposes, including editorials, greeting cards, books, logos, personal commissions, and others.  Some of my recent clients include Pittsburgh City Paper, "Brain, Child" magazine, STIR Journal, The Link Magazine (Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science), and Delaware/Main Line Bride magazine.

I enjoy making art, making music, and most things that are blue.  Feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss possible projects, or just want to say hi!
