Tara Zalewsky-Nease received a BFA from Kent State University in Visual Communication Design/ Illustration, and an MFA from the University of New Mexico in Painting. She has exhibited her art in galleries in Sante Fe, Taos and Albuquerque, NM as well as in Pittsburgh. 

She is a versatile artist, working across traditional and digital media. Her passion is painting backgrounds, and creating characters for animated features. She specializes in children’s and family entertainment from Visual Development for animation, to Concept art and Illustration for toys and games. She is currently working on developing illustrations for a board game that will be on the market in the summer of 2023. She is also an adjunct Associate Professor for Point Park University.
