Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators

    I am an Illustrator and character designer from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania who loves mythology and fantasy. I mainly work digitally though my work is heavily inspired by traditional European oil painting especially the work of the Orientalists, the Dutch Golden Age, and American artists like John Singer Sargent. I am interested in therianthropy, the fusion of man and animal, the Victorian Era, realistic lighting and rendering, and slight cartoonish stylization, which characterizes my fantasy illustrations and character designs. My goal is to use my art to tell mythological stories and make real the fantastic beings and beast from all over the world in new and exciting ways.

               I also do commission portraiture in both a realistic or a cartoony stlye. I have done paintings of people’s beloved bets, family members, and homes, and wedding portraits for newlyweds. See my "Commission Art" page for examples.
