Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators

Kristine is an aspiring picture book author and illustrator. Her picture books are sweet, charming, and imbued with a soft color palette that evokes the warmth and familiarity of classic family-centered picture books. 

Kristine holds an AS in Commercial Art, a BA in Art Education, and an MAT in Advanced Secondary Education. She has worked professionally as a commercial artist and as an art teacher in Special Education. She is an active member of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and the 12 x 12 Picture Book Challenge. Kristine also leads a critique group for SCBWI, supporting fellow writers and illustrators in their creative journeys.
