Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators

Hi there! I'm PAT N. LEWIS and I live in the best city in the world (Pittsburgh, PA) and I have the best job in the world (freelance cartoonist/illustrator). I'd love to work with you! 

What do I illustrate? All kinds of stuff, including children's books, magazines, t-shirts, greeting cards, character design and more. My clients include Highlights, High Five, McGraw-Hill, Disney, Science Magazine, Star-Kist Tuna, and the U.S. National Park Service. 

My comics have appeared in anthologies from BOOM! Studios, Top Shelf Comics, Graphic Classics and Fulcrum Books. In 2007, IDW Publishing released my first solo graphic novel, The Claws Come Out. You should read it! 

Some of my favorite things in this world are: flea markets, libraries, Disneyland memorabilia, iced coffee, tiki bars, vintage toy packaging, monster movies, snack-bar nachos, MAD Magazine and Archie Comics. Oh, and drawing funny pictures for kids and adults. 

I'm proud to be a longtime member of SCBWI and a former President of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators.
